Middle-Aged German Shepherd Dumped at High Kill Shelter, Crying in Fear All Day

Life can sometimes through the fastest curve balls at you, that are almost impossible to hit. In one moment, you live a life so blissful, you would never think in your mind that things could take a turn for the worse. For an unnamed pup recently surrendered to the high kill Miami-Dade Animal Services, she could tell you all about dealing with curve balls if she could talk.

Her owner didn’t want her anymore, and so after 7 years of loyalty, love and unwavering devotion, she mercilessly dumped this precious pup at MDAS, leaving her all alone to fend for herself. In fact, according to my source at the shelter who wishes to remain anonymous, during the intake, her owner couldn’t spend the five minutes to give basic information like a name and an age.

Instead, she briskly walked out the door, leaving the staff at Miami-Dade Animal Services (MDAS) to sort out all the details. And so now this precious pup, who didn’t do a single thing to deserve her new fate, is emotionally shattered like broken glass.

One way she deals with the noise, chaos, and confusion of life at MDAS, is to find the nearest corner and bury her head in a makeshift pillow she made out of her toys. According to my source, at night, the unnamed pup tucks herself into a fetal position on a favorite blanket, and quietly sobs herself to sleep. Sad indeed.

“I am described as a male black and tan German Shepherd – Smooth Coated. The shelter thinks I am about 7 years old. Please find it in your heart to help me.”

SpeakUp, if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family she rightfully deserves, please contact Miami-Dade Animal Services (MDAS) at (305) 884-1101 and reference the shelter ID #A1849556.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter so we are closer to finding this terrified soul a home. We have done it so many times together, and can certainly do it again.💕❤
