sweet elfie unwanted by the only family he has ever known - on today's kill list and not reserved
THEY SAY IT TAKES A LONG TIME FOR A SOUL TO BECOME SO SWEET - THEY WOULD BE RIGHT ... A beautiful face, intelligent eyes, a sensitive soul - he is the epitome of a well-mannered young gentlemen. Understandably upset - he gave his family, including a child, wonderful years. How do you explain to him that his family doesn't want him anymore? I hope that someone will take a chance on him and allow him to live - he is a true blessing. Elfie WILL BE KILLED SHORTLY - at San Bernardino City Animal Shelter.
Volunteer write "Elfie so enjoys his time in the yard. He explores calmly, his feet slightly bouncing on the soft grass, his tail wagging non stop. He is very obedient, comes at once when called, sits on command, treats or no treats, and absolutely loves to be petted. As I sit on a bench, he settles next to me (sometimes with his tush on my feet), clearly awaiting caresses. He does give paw(I could not capture this with my camera) and rolls on his side for belly rubs. Yep, even majestic dogs lose it and behave like silly puppies."
San Bernardino City Shelter, CA doesn't have many networkers, we really need your help sharing our dogs. The local rescues are full and we're in big trouble!
